CUSTODIAN
Performs cleaning functions in assigned area following established schedules and using prescribed methods and required chemicals.
MAJOR DUTIES
Restrooms: Clean and disinfect sinks, toilet bowl, and urinals. Disinfect underside and top of toilet seats. Clean and disinfest floor under urinal. Clean mirror. Empty trash can, and replace liners (3 down 1 up and tied). Sweep, scrub, and mop tile floors paying attention to corners and partition bases. Spot clean walls and base boards. Replenish restroom supplies to include soap, paper towels, toilet seat covers.
General Office: Vacuum carpet. Empty trash cans and replace liners. Sweep and mop tile floors. Dust ledges, sills, and flat surfaces. Dust telephone and desk accessories. Do not disturb papers on furniture.
Lobbies and Corridor: Sanitize drinking fountains. Keep metal and stainless surfaces clean and bright. Clean building directory boards. Spot clean glass entry doors. Empty trashcans and cigarette urns.
Breakroom/Cafeteria: Empty trashcan and replace liners. Clean countertops, tables and chairs with germicide. Wipe down the outside of appliances. Arrange furniture in orderly fashion. Restock paper towels and soap dispensers. And other duties as instructed by supervisor.
